Chew On This

Salutations. . .This is Aaron,

Last night, I finally got to see 'El_Mariachi' with director commentary(Director_Robert_Rodriguez). 'Twas a treat! For those who don't know, this film was his big break, giving him a name as a director. Interestingly, it was originally intended to be more of an experiment; He wanted to use it to gain more experience then, sell it to the Mexican movie market to cover costs and maybe have a little left to use for parts 2 and 3. He made this film for around $7000. He made this film with no crew. Impressive! Anyhow, the film was a Sundance Film Festival Winner, springboarding him into stardom. His commentary is great, because he talks about the whole experience in detail, explaining how he achieved all the shots with no crew and using very little money. For anyone interested in filmmaking, I highly recommend it. It is very inspiring, and his emphasis is: if you want to make movies(or have any goal in general), go do it! And he recommends using creativity, Not money, to achieve it. Excellent!

Another film I watched for the ?? time, last night, was Guy_Ritchie's 'Snatch'. Still thoroughly enjoyable! It is hilarious and the boxing scenes are cool too. I would like to look at them again before we begin the creation of Adan's action trilogy. What do you think Adan?

As to Adan's comments about Black-Eyed Productions and Action/Violence. . .Of course, we don't recommend violence as a means for gain or a panacea, however, it is an integral part of our humanity. I hope we can portray it in a beautiful way in Adan's action trilogy and in other endeavors of Black-Eyed Productions. I think one could use any of Quentin_Tarantino's films as an example of this Action/Violence/Beauty concept.

Well, I think I have babbled on enough for now. This is Aaron signing off. . .
Hey Adan, wanna go get a Robocop tattoo with me?

One of the actors in Deadroom had a small part in the upcoming Sin City movie. He said Robert Rodriguez was super cool.

As far as Snatch goes it's a good one the last boxing match was good as well. But a little more high-style than we'll be shooting for.

dont tempt me about the Robocop tattoo.
